🔗:“Boxes”
When people who given advice, I always try to have an open heart to listen and to not push back. (I try I try😓.)There was one time when someone told me “When I go to your Instagram I don’t know if you’re a Yoga girl, or you’re a Clothing Designer, or Public speaker, or Model…on your Instagram people don’t who you are, what is your theme”? Super interesting, I then asked myself, who am I? How many “Downward Dog” in different locations photos can I actually post? It gets so boring posting the same Yoga poses, travel photos..There are times when I am really vulnerable. I want to share my stories, what inspires me, my thoughts, what book I’m reading. Or there are times I need to announcing my new designs for MeshYoga.
How can I hold myself in just one category? I never want to put a label on who I am. Why box myself in on just one thing? When I’m not just that one thing, I’m also all of these other things. I am a designer, I am a writer, I am a Yoga instructor, and I am a creator. Keep being yourself unapologetically, without the need to be labeled or in a box. There is also power in vulnerability. To be real is to show people every piece of who you are. So why should I confine myself to what I post, when it is authentic to share every piece of myself while giving insight into my daily life. Show the world who you are. #MeshOn
